REGION: Nyeri and Kirinyaga Counties AB Plus is a blend of coffees carefully chosen for their cup profile from Nyeri and Kirinyaga counties, where there over 100,000 members of farmers’ cooperative societies. At harvest, the very best, perfectly ripe cherries are carefully hand sorted and delivered to the wet mills the same day. After pulping, fermenting and washing, the parchment is moved to the drying tables for slow sun drying on the famous African beds, where it is regularly turned to protect it from the harsh mid-day sun. Once dried and conditioned, it is graded at the dry mill after secondary processing. CUPPING NOTES: Black Currant, Dried Fig, Floral, Caramel, High Acidity and Heavy Body.
